Sound quality is perfectly acceptable though not as good as the previous day's show at Colchester. Not sure if this one has been widely circulated before. Exact lineage is unknown but it does sound very low generation. With thanks to Richard for the original transfer from his cassette. CAN Holger Czukay - bass guitar Michael Karoli - guitar, vocals Jaki Liebezeit - drums, percussion Irmin Schmidt - keyboards Linage: unknown> cassette> Wav > Flac tezeta: I passed the main part of this excellent concert share by jonsatticuk to my kind friend flambay for speed correction. flambay did a very careful and accurate job, as you will see with his numbers indicated by the track titles below. I picked up the encore set as high-range VBR MP3's from a CD-R entitled "Live, Landed" and while they have some significant phasing problems and a somewhat shaky sound environment, I still think it is quite acceptable and a stellar performance, so I left them as is, except for converting them to WAV for speed adjustment. You will hear the transition to the CD-R around the 14th minute of "Full Moon". In this RevA, I fixed an error with the resampling in the initial set on tracks 7-8. A second, inferior MP3 version of the CDr was used to patch the ends of the last two encores, because it had missing applause, reverb, and a missing bass note. I think it does quite a good job of restoring this concert, for now. To both MP3 sources I applied speed reduction of -0.165 semis. All work done in Reaper. Rendered "Unfinished" in FLAC format after speed correction to keep this a lossless set. Some song titles were also adjusted for historical accuracy. Checksums, SBE's, etc. Any advice on how to blend the two sources more suitably would be very appreciated. Pass it on!
